The Art of Food in Frogtown and Rondo Commission

Mayumi Park announces commissions for food-related public art projects for The Art of Food in Frogtown and Rondo. Public Art Saint Paul is a member a Coalition with Asian Economic Development Association (AEDA), Frogtown Farm, Twin Cities Community Agricultural Land Trust (TCALT), and Urban Farm and Garden Alliance (UFGA). Artists play important roles in our work. Artistic approaches can have a great impact on building a healthy local food system.

We invite artists to submit a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to be considered for public art projects in these two St. Paul neighborhoods that will strengthen people’s knowledge of and access to fresh produce and healthy food. These will be temporary projects for implementation in summer to fall 2020. Commission is for $3,000. The deadline is June 25, 2020 at 5 PM.
