Public Art Saint Paul regrettably announces its cancellation of its Critical Conversation event scheduled for 6 PM tonight at the Minneapolis American Indian Center. We do so out of respect for the local Indigenous community and in commiseration with them over the alarming and tragic violent acts of yesterday and today that have left four dead and two injured, all Indigenous Americans as reported. Grievance and safety concerns compel us to call off an event occurring nearby. We apologize profusely to those who had planned to attend, as we convey our condolences and reaffirm our unwavering support for our local Indigenous community.
