DEAR FRIENDS
In this historic year, Public Art Saint Paul continued to work with artists and communities to sustain joy, encourage contemplation, foster connectedness, and increase equity.

Whether by pivoting to online programs that brought artists and audiences together to talk about responding to crises or by sharing poetic beauty on city sidewalks with messages from writers to people on walks through neighborhoods, we continued to spark people and places.
We were thrilled to unveil our new play space at Western Sculpture Park, where we contributed to the design and created sculptures. At that event, Angel, one of our teen leaders who has been attending eARTh Lab at Western for five years, reflected, “I’ve been asked to talk about how this playground makes me feel. All I can say is that it makes me happy.”
What a tribute to hear that from a key community member, Angel, who also helped us gather ideas from the neighborhood for the playground!
In 2021, we will continue to strive to make people happy by working with artists to shape public spaces and deepen civic engagement.
Your contribution in these final weeks of 2020 will support the spread of happiness!
Please consider Public Art Saint Paul as part of your year-end generosity.
Thank you for your previous support that has helped to sustain our work this year.
We appreciate and are humbled by our Beloved Community, which continues to stand up for public art for all.
Wishing you and your loved ones health and happiness during this season–
